Zoya Summer 2015: Island Fun and Paradise Sun - swatches, review!

Hello, Beautiful!

Zoya's Summer 2015 collection is out and I have pics and swatches of all 12 shades from both sub-collections. The first six shades are from the Island Fun sub-collection and those six shades are all creams. The second six shades are from the Paradise Sun sub-collection and those six shades all have a micronized pearl metallic finish, some with an almost duo-chrome effect to the way they reflect.

Check out all the product info, along with my full review, after the pics!

MY REVIEW...

This is another stunning collection from Zoya! I love having the option of cream or a more metallic finish. I have favorites from both sub-collections and want to talk about all the colors.

First, let's start with the Island Fun sub-collection, which are the creams. My favorite is Talia, followed closely by Cecilia. I tend to favor blue shades anyway, but these are really pretty and very opaque. I also like how the shade Jace is green, but it's not a super bright lime green. It's more like a muted lime green that is very wearable and more everyday rather than a screaming lime green that can sometimes be too much.

Shades Nana, Demetria and Serenity are also pretty shades that I would wear, especially Serenity!

Now, let's talk about the Paradise Sun sub-collection, which are the gorgeous micronized pearl metallic finishes. My absolute favorite shade is Aphroite -- even though Zoya describes this as a red, it pulls more orange.... at least that's how the flecks in this polish catch the light and it's a really gorgeous shade in person. I couldn't capture the beauty of Aphroite in pictures; it's a stunner!

My second favorite shade is Isa -- such a gorgeous deep blue-purple that just looks beautiful day or night. The shades Oceane, Mae and Selene are also great colors. Genesis was hard to capture in photos, but it really is one of my favorite white shades that I now own! It's finish makes it look like diamond dust within the polish, but not in a sparkle way, instead in a light catching way. It's a way to wear white that isn't flat and boring. Very pretty and I will wear this shade a lot!

Of course I'm already a fan of Zoya's polish formula, and these are no different so I really can't say much more. I like this collection and think there are some core shades in there that will transition throughout all seasons and for years to come!

Now let me know what you think...
